Bart M. Davis of Boise was a former US Attorney for the District of Idaho from 2017 to 2021. He was a Republican member of the Idaho Senate who represented it for 15 years in District 33. He also represented District 29 for 4 years. In that time he served as Idaho Senate Majority Leader for those 15 years. His last challenge by a Democrat was in 2010 and an independent in 2016.
He was born in South Dakota and went to the University of Idaho College of Law. From there notable law work was co-counsel to Davis v. United States (1990), representing the claims by two missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and whether the missionary expenses represented a "charitable contribution". The Court ruled an unanimous opinion against his parents (who were the petitioners) and he lost that case.

In 2017 he was appointed to be the U.S. District Attorney of Idaho and was confirmed on a voice vote both in the Senate Judiciary Committee and the entire Senate.

The Board of Idaho Women Lawyers is a quasi-union that does not take any political or judicial stance. They support purely women lawyers and they have a "diverse" membership. Some of their most prominent advocates are "Advancing Equity in Practice", "Challenges in Idaho and What Can We Do to Address Them", and "Combating Bias & Protecting Constitutional Rights".
The Judaical Committee Chair (who she works with) has donated thousands of dollars to the ActBlue and the Biden campaign. There are no other publicly available connections who have federally donated. Anyone else is too obscured to make a connection.
